Zombie Brain Hemorrhage Shot

  • Author: Imili Johnson

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1/2 oz Irish cream liqueur (such as Bailey’s)
  • 1/4 oz grenadine
  • 1/4 oz blue curaçao (optional, for added color effect)

Instructions

Preparation:

Step 1:
In a shot glass, pour the peach schnapps as the base. This fruity and sweet liqueur will serve as the foundation for the shot.

Step 2:
Slowly pour the Irish cream liqueur over the back of a spoon to float it on top of the peach schnapps. As the cream enters the glass, it will begin to curdle, creating the “brain” effect.

Step 3:
Carefully drizzle the grenadine into the glass. The grenadine will sink through the Irish cream, creating streaks of red that resemble blood, adding to the spooky appearance.

Step 4:
(Optional) For an extra layer of visual appeal, add a few drops of blue curaçao for a creepy, contrasting color.

Step 5:
Serve immediately and watch as your guests marvel at the gory, brain-like layers!

Notes

  • The “brain” effect occurs because the Irish cream curdles when it comes into contact with the acidity of the peach schnapps and grenadine. This is what gives the shot its signature gory look.
