White Peach Margarita

Description

White Peach Margarita is the perfect cocktail to sip on during warm summer days. This refreshing and fruity twist on the traditional margarita combines the sweetness of white peaches with the tangy notes of fresh lime juice and the bold kick of tequila. The addition of peach schnapps enhances the natural peach flavor, while a touch of simple syrup balances the tartness.

Ingredients

Scale

To make one White Peach Margarita, you’ll need:

  • 2 oz tequila (silver or reposado)
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz white peach puree (fresh or store-bought)
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • White peach slice (for garnish)
  • Lime wheel (for garnish)

Optional Ingredients:

  • Salt or sugar for rimming the glass
  • Sparkling water for a lighter variation
  • Orange liqueur (such as Cointreau) for added depth

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Glass

Before making the margarita, prepare the glass for serving. If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the margarita glass and dip it into coarse salt or sugar.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine:

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz peach schnapps
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz white peach puree
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
Step 3: Shake Well

Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to ensure all ingredients are well combined and chilled.

Step 4: Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a margarita glass filled with fresh ice.

Step 5: Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish with a white peach slice and a lime wheel for a beautiful and refreshing presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use ripe white peaches for the best natural sweetness. If fresh white peaches are not available, you can use frozen peaches or high-quality peach puree.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup, depending on your preference.
  • If you prefer a stronger cocktail, reduce the simple syrup and increase the tequila slightly.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the fresh peach puree to remove any pulp before mixing.
