Step 1: Prepare the Filling

  1. Begin by cooking the ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally until both are browned and fully cooked.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet to avoid a greasy pie.
  3. Once the meat is cooked, set it aside to cool slightly.

Step 2: Preheat the Oven

  1. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza Pie

  1. Roll out one of the pie crusts and gently press it into a deep-dish pie pan or an oven-safe skillet, covering the bottom and sides.
