The Batgirl Breeze Cocktail

  • Author: Imili Johnson
  • Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz vodka (or white rum for a tropical twist)

  • ½ oz black raspberry liqueur (for a deep, bold color)

  • ½ oz blue curaçao (for a subtle purple hue)

  • ½ oz fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz pineapple juice (for a fruity balance)

  • ½ oz cranberry juice (for a tart kick)

  • 2 oz club soda (for a refreshing fizz)

  • Ice cubes

Garnish:

  • Blackberries or raspberries

  • Lemon twist

  • Edible shimmer dust (optional, for a mysterious glow)

Instructions

Step 1: Chill Your Glass

Place a cocktail glass in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes to ensure your drink stays cold longer. A well-chilled glass enhances the overall drinking experience and prevents dilution.

Step 2: Prepare the Cocktail Mix

In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka (or white rum), black raspberry liqueur, blue curaçao, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. The combination of these ingredients will create the signature deep purple color of The Batgirl Breeze.

Step 3: Shake It Up

Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. The shaking not only chills the drink but also helps blend the flavors seamlessly.

Step 4: Strain into the Glass

Remove your chilled glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail mixture into it. Use a fine-mesh strainer for a smoother texture.

Step 5: Add the Fizz

Slowly pour in the club soda, which will add a light, refreshing effervescence to the drink. Stir gently to blend the bubbles evenly without losing too much carbonation.

Step 6: Garnish for the Final Touch

Add a few fresh blackberries or raspberries for an elegant touch. Twist a thin strip of lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then place it on the rim or float it on top. For an extra magical effect, sprinkle a pinch of edible shimmer dust to give the drink a glowing, mysterious finish.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice instead of bottled for a more vibrant citrusy kick. Adjust the ratio of black raspberry liqueur and blue curaçao to fine-tune the purple color. Always pour club soda last to preserve its fizz.
