Instructions
- Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk with active dry yeast and letting it sit until frothy.
- Mix melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and salt in a large bowl, then add the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms, then knead for 5-7 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract, then fold in strawberries and cornstarch.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
