Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz peanut butter whiskey
- 1 oz chocolate liqueur (such as Godiva or crème de cacao)
- 1 oz Irish cream (like Baileys)
- 1 oz heavy cream or milk (for a lighter option)
- 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 2 tbsp crushed peanuts or graham crackers (optional, for garnish)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (for glass rim garnish)
- Mini peanut butter cups, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Glass
- Spread a small amount of peanut butter around the rim of your glass.
- Dip the rim into the crushed peanuts or graham crackers to coat it evenly. This will give a crunchy and tasty rim that enhances each sip.
Step 2: Add Chocolate Syrup
- Drizzle the chocolate syrup inside the glass to create a decorative swirl. Tilt the glass slightly and rotate it as you drizzle for a beautiful pattern.
Step 3: Mix the Cocktail
- In a cocktail shaker, add the peanut butter whiskey, chocolate liqueur, Irish cream, and heavy cream (or milk).
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled and creamy.
Step 4: Strain and Pour
- Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass. The drink should be smooth, with a thick, creamy consistency.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
- Add a mini peanut butter cup on top or along the rim for an extra treat. You can also sprinkle a touch of chocolate shavings on top for a final elegant touch.
Notes
- For a less sweet option, adjust the amount of chocolate syrup, or choose a dark chocolate liqueur. This balances the cocktail, making it rich but not overly sugary.
- If peanut butter whiskey isn’t available, use a regular whiskey and add a teaspoon of peanut butter or peanut butter-flavored syrup for a similar taste.
