Instructions
Preparation
Step 1: Make the Gingerbread Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, molasses, ginger, and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool before using.
Step 2: Prepare the Gelatin Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over ½ cup cold water and let it sit for 2 minutes to bloom.
Step 3: Dissolve the Gelatin
Pour in 2 cups boiling water and whisk until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Step 4: Add Liquor and Syrup
Stir in the Irish cream liqueur, butterscotch schnapps, vodka, and ¼ cup of the gingerbread syrup. Mix well.
Step 5: Pour and Set
Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or silicone molds. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until fully set.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Before serving, top each shot with whipped cream and gingerbread man sprinkles for a festive touch.
