Ingredients
Ingredients
-
1 oz French vanilla vodka
-
1 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
-
1 oz Irish cream liqueur (e.g., Baileys)
-
2 oz heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)
-
Chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
-
Ice cubes
Optional Garnish
-
Whipped cream
-
Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
Instructions
Step 1: Drizzle chocolate into the glass
Before you mix the drink, swirl chocolate syrup inside a chilled rocks or hurricane glass for a decorative, indulgent touch. Set aside.
Step 2: Combine ingredients in shaker
In a cocktail shaker, add 1 oz French vanilla vodka, 1 oz coffee liqueur, 1 oz Irish cream, and 2 oz heavy cream. Add ice to fill the shaker halfway.
Step 3: Shake it up
Shake vigorously for 15 seconds until the mixture is frothy and chilled.
Step 4: Strain and serve
Strain the cocktail into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice (or serve straight up if preferred).
Step 5: Garnish and enjoy
Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a light dusting of cocoa powder for a dessert-worthy finish.
Notes
-
Heavy cream makes the drink rich and silky—use milk or half-and-half for a lighter version
-
Chilling the glass before serving helps keep the cocktail cold longer
-
Always shake with ice, even if you plan to serve it without
-
Drizzling chocolate inside the glass makes for a more dessert-like presentation
-
For extra flavor, dust the top with cinnamon or nutmeg
