- 1 tablespoon Korean pepper flakes (gochugaru)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Chili Garlic Oil
- ½ cup oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut oil work best)
- 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili flakes
Instructions
Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili garlic oil, and honey until combined.
Step 2: Taste and adjust the flavor to your preference. For a sweeter sauce, add a bit more honey; for extra heat, increase the chili garlic oil.
Step 3: Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
