- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Garlic parmesan dressing, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Brown the Beef
- Heat a Skillet: Place a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the Ground Beef: Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
- Drain the Fat: Remove excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Step 2: Layer in the Crockpot
- Spread a Layer of Sauce: Pour a thin layer of pasta sauce onto the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add Ravioli & Beef:
- Place half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
- Spread half of the cooked beef on top.
- Pour another layer of pasta sauce over the beef.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, beef, sauce, and cheese.
Step 3: Cook
- Cover & Cook:
- Low: 4-6 hours
- High: 2-3 hours
- Check for Doneness: The ravioli should be tender and the cheese melted & bubbly.
Step 4: Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle Fresh Parsley: Once cooked, garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
- Drizzle with Garlic Parmesan Dressing: For an extra burst of flavor, drizzle with garlic parmesan dressing before serving.
- Enjoy Hot: Serve immediately with garlic bread or a side salad!
