- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot in a single layer.
Step 2: Add Seasonings
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
Step 3: Add Butter
- Cut the butter into small pieces and place them on top of the chicken and seasonings.
Step 4: Slow Cook
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender and shreds easily.
Step 5: Shred and Serve
- Shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks and stir it into the flavorful sauce.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or in a sandwich for a delicious and comforting meal.
