Preparation

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray and set it aside.

Step 2: Prepare the Cake Batter

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  3. Slowly pour in the melted butter and continue mixing until the batter is smooth.

Step 3: Pour the Batter

  1. Pour the cake batter into the prepared 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly using a spatula.

Step 4: Make the Cinnamon Swirl

  1. In a separate bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  3. Use a knife or a skewer to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the cake batter, creating a marbled effect.

Step 5: Bake the Cake
