  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced lengthwise
  • 3 scoops of ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry)

For the Toppings:

  • Chocolate syrup
  • Strawberry sauce (or fresh strawberry slices)
  • Pineapple chunks or pineapple sauce
  • Whipped cream
  • Chopped nuts (like peanuts or almonds)
  • Maraschino cherries

Instructions

Preparation:

1: Assemble the Base

  1. Take a long serving dish (banana boat dish if available) and place the banana halves on each side.
  2. Arrange three scoops of ice cream in the center, between the banana slices.

2: Add the Toppings

  1. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the chocolate ice cream.
  2. Spoon strawberry sauce over the strawberry scoop (or top with fresh strawberry slices).
  3. Scatter pineapple chunks or drizzle pineapple sauce over the vanilla scoop.

3: Garnish & Serve

  1. Pipe or spoon whipped cream over each scoop of ice cream.
  2. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the entire sundae.
  3. Top each scoop with a maraschino cherry for the classic banana split look.
